The Temecula Valley Woman’s Club has elected a new Executive
Board for 2010. TVWC President, Pat Farmer, took office on January 1. Farmer has
been with the organization since 2001 and has held numerous Board positions over
the years.
During her first month as President, she ushered in the TVWC’s
Special Project for 2010, the Back on Track program. “This program will be
a joint effort with Michelle’s Place, a Women's Breast Cancer Resource Center in
Murrieta,” explained Farmer. “Michelle’s Place plans to expand assistance and
help cancer survivors rebuild their lives to regain their place in the community
through mentoring programs, seminars, wardrobe assistance and more. With the
support of the TVWC, the program will be enlarged to include funding for
one-time costs associated with job training programs and their immediate needs,
such as clothes for the workplace.”
