Advocates for Children

Chair – Tally Hoffman

Mission Statement - The Advocates for Children Committee supports children and their needs in our community.

Arts/Culture

Chair – Bev Webb

Mission Statement - The Arts and Culture Committee is dedicated to supporting Community Museums & Theatre, Concerts, Arts in Education, Music, and Drama in the Temecula Valley.

Conservation

Chair – Denise Kilpatrick

Mission Statement - The Conservation Committee promotes environmental appreciation and protection. We support awareness of our natural resources and development of sustainable habits that enrich our community. Our committee works to preserve, maintain, and restore our natural resources; and contribute to the humane treatment of animals, both domestic and wild.

 Education

Chair – Nancy Alcorn

Mission Statement - The Education Committee promotes learning through literacy.

Home Life

Chair – Jennifer Duncan

Mission Statement - The Home Life committee supports our community’s efforts to educate and promote a healthy, happy lifestyle with a special focus on the needs of the elderly and people in health crisis. The committee also organizes golfing and bridge activities for our members.

Public Issues

Chair – Christine Rios

Mission Statement - International Outreach strives to increase awareness in our club and community of the need to become active and integral members of our world community.  Military Support is dedicated to working with local organizations to provide support and assistance to active and retired military personnel, and their families, from all branches of service. Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention (DVAP) is dedicated to increasing awareness of domestic violence, abuse and neglect in our community. In bringing awareness, we can make a difference in the lives of people affected directly or indirectly by domestic violence.

Scholarships

Chair – Mardelouis Hawthorne

Mission Statement – The Scholarship Committee celebrates the students in our community by supporting their goals for higher education.

 

These committees are approved by our membership and meet current GFWC and CFWC procedure guidelines. Committees and their chairs are overseen by the First Vice President/Dean.
