California Federation of Women's Club Convention

In May over twenty Temecula Valley Woman’s Club members attended the CFWC 113th Convention in Irvine, California.  Just as in our district conventions, awards are given for excellence in many categories.  TVWC received 1st prize in Conservation Community Service, Education Community Service, Newsletter Contest, Leadership, and Creativity in fundraising.  In Photography our own Wendy Bolduc received 1st place award in the Living Things Category for her poignant picture, “Last Kiss”.  Wendy’s photo will go on to compete in the GFWC competition.

CFWC has a project called “Firstie’s” which honors accomplished, notable women in CFWC.  Joy Sullivan, a 35-year member of TVWC and former President was honored as a “Firstie” during the convention.
