TVWC MILITARY SUPPORT COMMITTEE HELPS OUT WITH MILITARY BABY SHOWER

The Temecula Valley Woman’s Club Military Support Committee participated in a baby shower for 1st Recon Battalion at Camp Pendleton Marine Base on Saturday, May 30, 2015. This event is sponsored by Military Showers of Support, a group which organizes military babyshowers, specifically for Marine battalions at Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twenty-nine Palms.

There were 13 babies including twin girls. Temecula Valley Woman’s Club donated the food, drinks, cake and cookies as well as a selection of baby clothing, handmade blankets, burp cloths, gift cards to Target, Wal-Mart and other stores, along with some special game prizes. Events like this give military families a chance to get together and meet one another.
